  • If you want your food to last as long as possible, make sure that your fridge is cold enough. This will keep your food fresh longer by slowing down the process of spoilage.
  • The USDA recommends that you set the temperature of the refrigerator to 40 degrees. In other words, you want the temperature at 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below for safe food storage.
