TYPES OF WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

It removes ionized chlorine by attracting it to its positive surface.
3. Granular activated carbon filter:
It works similarly to the carbon block filter. These granules are larger than the powder. This provides weaker filtration but a higher flow rate. It is used before activated carbon block or as a point of entry (POE) filtration due to its higher speed.
4. Reverse osmosis:
This filtration uses a semi-permeable membrane to filter water from a higher solute concentration to a lower solute concentration. This requires the use of a pump for external pressure. This removes all contaminants except volatile organic compounds (VOC), some pesticides, solvent, and chlorine.

8. Ultra-filtration (UF)
Here hydrostatic pressure forces water through a semi-permeable membrane. If it has 0.01 to 0.02 microns size pores then it can also remove bacteria and parasites. It has a range of 0.01 to 0.5 microns size pores.

It is made of aluminium oxide. It has high absorption.
10. Ionization (alkaline ionizer)

2. Inorganic Contaminants
